Grizzly Moon Mobile Animal Service Hospital
In the name of better care for your dog, cat, rabbit, or other small pets, Dr. Kate List D.V.M. comes to your doorstep, bringing her mobile vet office down the back roads, highways, and beaten paths of the Flathead Valley. Since the start of her company, in May 2004, Dr. List has performed various soft tissue surgeries including spays, neuters, and C-sections, as well as dental cleaning work, vaccinations, heartworm and internal parasite testing and control, at home euthanasia, and even some grooming from the comforts of her veterinary trailer.
After years of in-office experiences with anxious animals and notoriously skittish cats, Dr. List knew that going to the animals’ home would mean calmer and easier vet visits. Therefore she went ‘mobile’ with her customers and the animals in mind.
“This is a service designed for people who have big dogs and can’t get them in a truck, or for older customers, for people who have a hard time taking their cats in, or for people who live so far out that’s it’s a difficult trip,” explains Dr. List “I’d always thought it was a neat idea to take the service to them, it’s on a more personal level. With the trailer, I can spend more time with the animals, giving them extra care.”

“House call veterinarians are gaining in popularity, especially for the elderly and disabled clients,” List Said. “Busy professionals find that house call services save them valuable time and are convenient. I can meet with clients at their home before or after work, so they don’t have to interrupt their full work day.”
“To make the best use of my time, each day is devoted to calls specific to areas the valley,” Dr. List continued. “And surgery days are worked in. But I always try to fit in urgent medical problems as they arise.”
